From Engineer to Entrepreneur - The History of PioMu

At the beginning of the month, our founder was interviewed for the online radio show called Sabia Talk Radio which is part of Sabia Partners, an online community of latinas entrepreneurs who are committed to a social transformation.

We were lucky enough that the radio hostess, Carmen, found us through a local entrepreneurship community.  Once she found out about PioMu, she went to our website and was fascinated by what we were creating.

As you probably know by now, our founder graduated from MIT with a business and engineering degree.  Immediately after graduation, our founder used her technical skills.  After having her first child, she decided to quit and do something on her own.  Therefore, in the interview we talk about what it takes your own business, the decision to start an online-only toy store, and how to make the transition from engineering to business.
